Teacher of Record Support for Grade Reports and Schedules
With the release of version 6.6, districts can easily configure grade reports and student schedules to display co-teaching assignments for each section. A new option, available from the Teacher Roles setup page, allows administrators to determine which roles they would like to display on grade reports and schedules. The new “Print Teacher of Record Staff” option, which has been added to report card, progress report, SBRC, schedule, and eSchoolPortal Schedule tab configuration pages, will generate the corresponding document with the staff associated with the selected roles. This new option will consider all meeting time assignments, teacher of record start and end dates, as well as student assignments. For sections that do not have a teacher of record assignment, the staff assigned to the first meeting time will continue to be printed when this option is selected.

Student Performance Widgets
Version 6.6 introduces two new widgets that are designed to allow counselors and administrators to quickly identify students who may be at risk due to academic or attendance issues.

The Graduation Requirement Status by Student widget presents a pie chart of all students who have met requirements, are in progress, or have failed to meet requirements for the selected graduation map. Users can drill down on each category to reveal the list of students contributing to the tally. Users can drill down on each student to reveal the subject area and assessment requirement statuses, along with the specific courses and assessment results. This widget can be filtered using all available common filters, and exported to Excel for further analysis.

The Chronic Absence widget presents a pie chart of student performance relative to daily attendance. The chart divides students into one of three categories: not chronically absent (absent 0-4% of enrolled days), at-risk (absent 5-9% of enrolled days), or chronically absent (absent for more than 10% of enrolled days) for the current school year. Users can drill down on each category to reveal the list of students contributing to the tally. Available information includes student name, enrollment date, number of days enrolled, total absences, and more. This widget can be filtered using all available common filters, and exported to Excel for further analysis.

eSchoolPortal Course Request Restrictions
With the release of version 6.6, the course request management process has been enhanced to promote collaboration between district staff, parents, and students. The new Maximum credits fields, available from the eSchoolPortals Settings page, allows building staff to define the total number of credits a parent or student may select when course request entry is enabled. In addition, the total requested credits are now displayed on the Course Request tab so that parents and students can easily monitor subscription levels during the process. Lastly, new configuration options allow building administrators to display course credits and prerequisites for each request.

Online Contact Verification Support for Child Pickup
Administrators can now capture important information about guardians and emergency contacts via the eSchoolPortals. The new Child Pickup checkbox, available from the eSchoolPortal Settings page, allows districts to include this selection on their Online Contact Verification forms along with instructions for the field. When enabled, primary guardians will have the ability to designate those guardians and emergency contacts who are permitted to pick up their child from school. As with all other fields within this page, the registration module will be automatically updated to reflect the selections once the form is submitted.
